Guangdong COSCO Shipbuilding Heavy Industry's first deepwater suction dredger successfully delivered


On April 10th, the “BONNYRIVER” round of the deepwater suction dredger, first built by Guangdong COSCO Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, was successfully delivered. The wheel has strong dredging and landfilling capacity. The total mud tank capacity is 15,000 cubic meters, the main mud pump is 8000 kW, the booster mud pump is 3800 kW, and the sediment mixture can be excavated up to 34,000 cubic meters per hour. The mud distance is 4,000 meters, and the steamed bread can reach the seabed at 109 meters for dredging.

The “BonNY RIVER” wheel is the first dredger designed and built by Guangdong COSCO Shipyard. The performance of dredging operation has reached the international top level. The BV classification society has a total length of 158 meters, a width of 30 meters, a draft of 8.9 meters, a speed of 16.3 knots and a deck lifting capacity of 111 tons.
 
"BonNY RIVER" adopts double-machine twin-propeller propulsion, equipped with light and heavy double boring heads, high degree of automation, equipped with dredging control system (DCS), secondary dynamic positioning and dynamic tracking system (DP2/DT), 耙 arm Position Measurement System (STPM), Power Management System (PMS) for Power Load Monitoring, Integrated Monitoring System (SCADA), all dredging systems are automatically controlled.

With the help of the DP2/DT dynamic positioning cruise function, the precise positioning of the dredging and the reliability of the automatic control are greatly improved, and the single-drive driving and single dredging operation of the bridge can be easily realized, and the digging can be automatically performed after the route is set. Mud greatly improves work efficiency. The “BonNY RIVER” wheel can not only accurately work in the inland rivers and offshore areas, but also mine, sand and dred in the deep water areas of the open sea.
 
As the latest generation of dredgers, the ship has extensively analyzed the noise and vibration data of the whole ship in the design and construction. In the process, the main equipment of the whole ship is subjected to vibration and noise reduction treatment, and the noise vibration of BV classification society is obtained. Level certification, and double decoration of the living area, comfort and luxury far exceed the same type of ship. The ship's dual fuel main engine can use natural gas and has obtained the BV classification society's green environmental protection certificate.
