On February 19, 2019, the 55,000-ton chemical/product tanker No. 2 vessel built by Singapore Shipbuilding Group (IMC) and China Shipbuilding Leasing was launched.
It is reported that the design of the ship is 183 meters long, 35 meters wide, 18.5 meters deep and 10.5 meters draught. It is a modern tanker with energy saving, environmental protection and high efficiency.
This type of ship can load 22 kinds of chemical liquid cargo at the same time without the cargo being polluted by each other, which can fully meet the shipowner's personalized loading and unloading demand, and greatly improve the choice surface and flexibility of the ship owner's operation process.
This type of vessel meets the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) Tier3 emission standards and meets the emission requirements of the NOx emission control zone.
The main engine and generator of the ship are also equipped with an open desulfurization system, which can pump seawater to the washing tower, and directly discharge the exhaust gas to the outboard to achieve pollution control at the source of the exhaust gas to achieve simple and efficient desulfurization.
