Jiangnan shipbuilding large-scale navigation ship launching

On March 22, 2019, Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., owned by CSSC, launched a large-scale navigation vessel for the Donghai Navigation Support Center of the Ministry of Transport. Of particular concern to shipbuilders is that this is the world's first large-scale steel vessel built on a three-dimensional experience platform that enables the construction of large-scale 3D design deliveries (three-dimensional “drawings”). Digital shipbuilding has opened a new journey in Jiangnan Shipbuilding, setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Designed by CSSC's 7th and 8th Research Institute, the large-scale navigation vessel has a total length of 73.34 meters, a width of 14.00 meters, a depth of 6.20 meters, and a maximum displacement of 2,300 tons. It is classified as a China Classification Society (CCS).

The ship meets the requirements of China's far-sea navigation area and can sail normally in mild ice conditions. It has dual-mainframe, double-adjustable paddle main propulsion system, ankle thruster and dynamic positioning system, which are mainly used for the navigation channels of the East China Sea. Light buoys and navigation aids are deployed, removed, inspected and maintained, and are capable of balancing marine pollution prevention and radio navigation signal monitoring.

It is reported that the large-scale navigation ship is an important platform for Jiangnan Shipbuilding to implement “innovation leading” and “transformation and upgrading”. Based on the core concept of “single digital model”, Jiangnan Shipbuilding uses digital 3D experience platform for digital design and VR construction simulation, and advances spatial accessibility, equipment operability and maintainability assessment to improve design quality from the source. In the construction, Jiangnan Shipbuilding creatively proposed a three-dimensional delivery project according to the construction stage, that is, through the intelligent production terminal, the three-dimensional model directly guides the production construction and management, and the new mode of paperless construction is gradually formed.

The 3D experience platform can simulate the crew's walking, operation and operation and maintenance on the ship, fully reflecting the behavior of people on the ship, which can help ship enterprises fully find problems in the ship design stage, effectively control the change and shipbuilding cost, shorten the shipbuilding cycle and improve shipbuilding. quality.
